1. In the race for Alaska’s sole seat in Congress, Republican challenger Nick Begich led incumbent Democratic Rep. Mary Peltola by 12,000 votes.
2. Several state House and Senate races for seats representing districts around the Interior were too close to call early this morning, with absentee ballots yet to be counted.
3. The effort to repeal Alaska’s ranked choice voting and open primaries was ahead slightly late Tuesday, with about three-quarters of the state’s precincts counted.
